Buenos Días, España! Spain had been one of the places I thought I would get to eventually. Then I found a really good flight deal and it happened a lot sooner than I imagined. I asked some friends who had been, and even some through Instagram for all the recommendations. With that, I set off to enjoy tapas, museums, and gelato.
I stayed at Dear Hotel on Gran Via which had the best views! I walked everywhere (except for the museums and the fancy shops because those were a bit of a hike).
The room was extremely modern and prepped with fresh fruit as a welcome snack. I’ll be posting videos of the views over on Facebook. You can also scroll through Instagram for endless snaps and videos too.
After dropping my luggage off, TapaTapa was my first stop. It was actually my favorite meal in Madrid. I will be back!
I may or may not have gone to every Zara in Madrid and Barcelona but that’s another story. You just don’t go to Spain and not go in Zara! Yes, there’s a plethora of Zara’s in the States but going in Spain is just different. All I have to show for it is this picture of the staircase as I was just going through all of the things we don’t have at home.
Next up… museums!
