If you are looking for a hotel that is modern, convenient and cost-efficient in Madrid, Dear Hotel is my first choice. The taxi from the airport was the priciest part (but that’s travel life). I walked the city in the prettiest shoes… because fashion and it made sense. The exterior off Gran Via is somewhat unassuming so your taxi driver might pass it if you’re not careful.
The rooms inside are just right for a few days in the city. The beds are comfortable so you get a good night’s rest and I absolutely loved looking out at the city way after I should have been asleep! You can walk to the cutest gelato shop and TapaTapa isn’t too far either. A lot of shopping is off Gran Via so just walk and take it all in. In my Instagram pictures you’ll see Plaza de España but beyond that is the Royal Palace of Madrid which is a sight to see at sunset.
The last (and possibly most important thing to some travelers) is breakfast. I love fresh juices anywhere and food always makes me happy. The Dear Breakfast had choices for everyone.
