Food in the Caribbean is without a doubt one of the many joys of being in the islands, and BB’s Crabback is Grenada’s hidden gem. You’ll want to make time to visit this local treasure during your trip to the Grenadines.
Hop on bus number one from Grand Anse Beach (depending on which direction you’re coming from) for the best experience and enjoy the view with the locals on your ride. It’s a short walk around the Carenage, a beautiful sight to see at sunset, and you will have arrived at BB’s.
Hopefully you will have made reservations for waterfront table but if you’re lucky, you may get one anyway. Now onto the most important part, the food!
I highly recommend ordering a rum punch. It has an extra spice to it that you will only find on the Spice Isle.
The Caribbean Jerk Chicken is by far the best I’ve had on any island, and I’ve been to several. I was trying to get every bit of meat off that bone. My old Alaskan Husky would’ve been proud of me. The rice and salad are not to be skipped either.
Now, I don’t even eat a lot of cake but the chocolate cake here was mysteriously gone in seconds. If I would’ve had more time, I certainly would’ve ordered a second one.
